In Wales, part of the UK we have a tradition of Love spoon making and giving to a loved one. Welsh Love Spoon made from Wood, handcarved by myself with a chain and two balls. The chain indicates a long and faith relationship and the balls enclosed but loose indicate children. There are many different designs, traditional an modern.

I have traced my ancestors to Wales all the way back to the 1500's. I plan to go there and explore, thank you for posting this:)
