Elictrical Lighting Equipment Chest Portable Type A. 38 1/2" X 32 1/4"X 18 1/4"

This is a electrical lighting chest Type A. I don't know much about them. It has a paper on the inside that says December 28 1943. I would like if someone could tell me a little more about them. Also it has some things in it that looks like the part of a light bulb that screws into a lamp.
