Hi,

I found this piece inside a cabinet I bought, what a cool surprise!
Don't know what it is, though.
My dad thought it might be a grille for an antique pedal car.

The metal looks like chrome, but there are old remnants of the finish too.
I want to to know if I can take the finish off to clean it up, or........

If you know what this is, please let me know?
It's about 20 inches long.

I'm pretty sure this is not from a pedal car. Can you tell what it is made of?

Heavy like cast iron, but I have a feeling it's some sort of Spelter or white metal.....
