What a kind gift to go with my paper-label/embossed M.M. Fenner bottle!
At the bottle club I'm in, I had talked about the New York company and its history pertaining to Michigan.
The next meeting, the man named Gordy had this 1891 receipt given to a man to give to another man to give to me.
It is also from Michigan: Cassopolis, to be exact.
"ALCOHOL 14% and other valuable ingredients."
Don't forget the... "Female weaknesses!" Oh, and spelling-error on "teaspoonfnl" on the bottle. LOL.
Most cures and remedies of the time had alohol.
