This brooch is more than 3 3/4 inches. I have no idea what it is, where it came from, and how old it is.
I have some smaller brooches and necklaces in a similar style but they are sterling. This one is not.
Any help would be appreciated.

Nice brooch. What's that funny pale blue mark on the backside?
Good question. I think someone wanted to check is the brooch was gold because it is gold washed. But there is a silver metal looking through. Maybe some kind of pot metal?
