This is marked Czechoslovakia inside the decanter lid, as previous posts by Al, for example. Similarly impractical, it has been on the wish list for some time just waiting for one which wasn't astronomically priced.
The harlequin glasses are not a match for any of the sets shown in Truitt II, but fit well, even if a marriage, being finely made, with polished bottoms and rims.
The set is 25cm long x 22.5cm high, giving an idea of the diminutive size of the components. I suspect these were designed as whimsies for after dinner, rather than fuelling long bacchanales!
Fabulous frame for the decanter !!!!
This is great Ian and pretty rare as a complete set - I'm still looking for a decanter set to go with my Rhino!! Fab find!!
