This is one of my smallest rose bowls and whilst it seems to be the Welz décor Stripes and Spots, the base of this one has no spots at all. The base of the other one in image four does have spots on the base. So is this one Stripes and Rods, perhaps?

Pink and green together = beauty. Can you imagine what this looked like on a mahogany table with exquisite roses in it?

Love it, Peggy, and jealous, as ever! It looks like it may have had a lid.

I can, Karen, but for me the joy of finding Welz from this period outweighs floral art :)

I guess I meant it's beauty has translated over time from what it may have been originally designed for to just a thing of beauty now.

I think you're right about a lid Ian. It's very shallow, and though I have a frog which fits, it didn't look right.

Karen, no probs, pieces trigger different thoughts in different minds.

I love Karen's idea of roses - a low tight bunch of pink roses would look amazing in this beautiful little vase!

If I ever come across miniature pink roses, Michelle, I'm going to put them in this urn, take the photo and post it here!

Hi Peggy, aww it's so small & sweet! How nice to have them in the same decor.
