Midcentury Flower Pot with Interesting Zigzag Design

i think that this is a piece of midcentury california pottery - maybe by Garden City or one of the big pottery companies which closed down in the 40s-60s. unfortunately, someone had epoxied on a spill tray on the bottom and i had to get it off - and subsequently broke it. i've repaired it as well as i can and will plant something in it tomorrow in the nursery. i like these old flower pots!
