Vintage Enamelware Colander Strainer Germany

This seems to be a cross between a colander and a strainer. I have several colanders but those are made to be placed in a sink so the liquid will drain away. This one is meant to clipped on the side of a pot/pan and drained into the pan. I have a few mesh screen strainers that clip on or hang onto the side of a pan.
This was made in Germany and I am thinking it was before WWII most likely but also possibly before WWI. After WWII it would be Western Germany or West Germany and they were not making enamelware at the time of reunification.
