Hello,
I've found these marbles in the pics in a house clearance. 1st pic is with out flash; 2nd pic is with flash.
As you can see they are irregular in shape, and look as if they have been poured into a mould as some of them have ripples, lots of scuff/scratch marks & there are plenty of small-larger air bubbles in them. The dark blue ones show up almost black.
How do you tell if they are old or new?
The other pics: I believe they are stone. They are cool to the touch & also irregular in shape. Some even have flat spots. I ran a magnet over them & picked up (and removed) 2 metal ones.
I've been told the Chinese made marbles out of stone, but how do you tell?
