I thought I'd finished buying these however this one, like the pink one, is not one layer with an applied contrast rim, as many are. These are white and the colour comes from a coloured outer casing. The casing is quite thin and you really only see it at the base as in image four. This results in a very pale delicate colour which you don't get in those made of one layer of thicker glass.
Unfortunately I haven't properly captured its delicacy, except perhaps in image one.

That shade of blue is lovely...& not often seen. A nice counterpoint to the pink one. I have a similar pink vase, although the base of my example is more rounded.
Thank you, IronLace. Your pink one with the rounder foot is also Welz, lest you didn't know. I've just found that shape in a known Welz décor......coming soon!
