Hello everyone. I am trying to identify this chair. I believe it to be antique but can't find it anywhere. Maybe you can help me solve this mystery.

The chair is old, however I am willing to bet I am older. It is certainly vintage with some repairs.
You're right fhrjr2, a dining table armchair from pre-1940's, rough though, and a repair seat added along with the repaired glue blocks and screws. Might be able to refinish it but still not worth much.

Thanks for your input. I had no idea that it had been worked over lol. Do you know the name of the type of chair it is? What if I had 5 more in mint condition ? Without any fixes. Original? Then what, how much would be the worth?

If you read the rules then you are aware asking values is a no, no. If you had this one and five more that are mint? Don't give up your day job.
