    I love cameos. I don’t think it was originally a brooch. The pin looks like a DIY job. Any ideas as to what it was originally?

      Think you are correct about both being cobbled together by a DIYer. This appears always to have been a brooch, but looks to me like a similar one-piece pinback assembly came off & has been replaced. Both cameos are resin casts.
