I purchased this old Victorian Art Nouveau Silver picture frame signed Modele depose. It has an organic plant with beetle, butterfly and other insects around the frame. It measures 10.1/2" by 8.1/4.
Okay, it's not bronze..... I cleaned it today and it's Silver or Silver Plate or Pewter. There was no reaction with a strong magnet. I then used some bleach on the back top corner of the frame and it tarnished. I show the tarnish in picture (4). Does this mean it's Silver or Silver Plate or Pewter??????
Can anyone give me any more info on this very beautiful picture frame??
