Another Mystery is this rosewood chromed metal with acrylic shade.
I've got no idea where to put this.... Italian or German origin?
At least that are my ideas so far... Just found a similar lamp while searching over Google but the owner knows nothing as well...

From an ergonomic perspective, it seems like a very awkward to use lamp. I am guessing it had some specialized purpose... Is there anything on the bottom?
Unfortunately nothing under the stand or in the shade or anywhere else
