When I was about six years old, I had a crown made of foil and cardboard for a princess costume. I lost the crown just before I was going to wear it for some school event, and my grandma destroyed one of her necklaces to make this replacement for me.
I can't even imagine how beautiful the original necklace must have been!
I thought about getting it made into a necklace again, but as nice as it would be, it would take away all of my grandma's work.

Thank you so much for your kind words! At the time, I don't think I appreciated it as much as I should have, but now (when I'm too old to wear such a thing!), it's definitely one of my treasures.
