Who is my maker?

I found this little number at a resale shop. Everything points to it being a 1984 Ron Gordon Kitchen Helper Cat Teapot.
The only problem is, that it has no markings on the bottom like the others I have seen online. I would like to know if anyone has come across something like this before? Or, did someone else make the same pattern? Thank you for your help.
