    This was another piece i found in that box - all wrapped in the 1952 newspaper from Charleston, SC. I think this is also either late Qing or early Republic piece.

      thank you yop. some of the folks on the Nyonya Straits / Peranakan page believe it's a bit earlier and for the Peranakan market. what do you think?
