      they are ladies head vases usually in the 40's and 50's. had artificial flowers and sold as gifts. Sometimes a copy of a famous face. The tall one is made by preston ceramics originally sold for $15. the smaller one is a gibson girl, sometimes known as glamour girl, orig. sold for $5 more info avail on Ebay under "head vases".

      I've seen some of these listed for $100 and up. They are really cute!
