this is what the seller claimed at some antique shop along the highway in the "middle of nowhere" Liguria Province
it weighs +/- 15 kg and seems well-made though I do not entirely understand how to hide the wiring
supposedly this Liberty Style was the Italian version of Art Nouveau but more Baroque influenced

What I love the most is the base, what a fantastic superb masterpiece that is. I collect car mascots mainly french as opposed to an american hood ornament. This would make my dream idea of a base for a stunning car mascot.
With a base that spectacular for a lamp, who should care whether you can also see a little bit of its lightbulb cord on the back of (instead of inside) it?? Find a cool replica 'cloth covered' one of those for it and enjoy that too?!!
