The local Carter Gasoline refinery was in Billings Montana but we had to drive all the way to a very scary part of Rockford Illinois to buy these signs. That was a night we slept with the desk in the cheesy Motel room pushed up against the door and my loaded Glock next to my hand all night. All the decent Motels in town were filled and there was a very good reason there was a vacancy in the dumpy place we stayed in! I read where Rockford is one of the most dangerous cities in all of America. What crazy collector would go hunting signs in that place u ask? Fortunately we survived one more time!
