1938-39 Ace Fastener Co. No. 202 Scout Stapling Machine

This is the Version I of the 1938-39 Ace Fastener Co. No. 202 Scout Stapling Machine. I picked it up along with two boxes of undulated staples (that this model requires). From located advertisements, it's apparent the Ver. I (concaved spine) stapler had undergone a remodel to the Ver. II (convexed backplate) by December 1939. When released in 1938 it sold for $1.50, which is equivalent to $35.43 in May 2026 dollars.
