Hello I’ve just rediscovered this lovely vase that has markings, I don’t think these was worth much back when I found it over 10 years ago, looks great still, I can’t remember what I found out about it, not sure how old.
Just found this
Fosters Pottery was a well-known British studio pottery brand established in the late 1950s and early 1960s in Redruth, Cornwall. Famous for its distinctive, earthy "honeycomb" and volcanic drip glazes in chocolate brown and caramel tones, the company produced retro homeware ranging from teapots to seahorse ornaments.
The original site closed in the 1990s, and the brand is now highly sought after by mid-century collectors. One of the original founders went on to open Kernewek Pottery, which also developed a cult following before closing in 2005.
