I own this small jewel since 2013, when Deb Fitzsimmons identified the decor as aventurin Phaenomen Gre 5260 on PN=II/5200 (1907). Up to now it is the only known green Aventurin vase of this decor, the same vase, I'm aware of, is in the collection of Erich Lichtenwörther, exhibited at the 'Pavilion of Glass at Klatovy' (PASK) and is documented in Jitka Lnenickova 'Loetz, Stories of the Inspirations' on page 146. Vases of brown aventurin glass are known of PN=II/5176 und II/5177 (1907) from the Broehan Museum, Berlin and alltogether they are, since long, documented at loetz.com. Inspired by the recent CW post stories/329581 by 'loetzforever, Loetz:1911, Ausf-136', I deceided to complement his compilation of Loetz aventurin glass. To my opinion, one still may further add 'Medina' and the Loetz vases made of pure green aventuringlass to his list. The almost same decors as compared to my vase, namely Gre 8098 and Gre 8100 (1899 ) are applied to ruby red glass and the latter, Gre 8100, is sometimes referred to as Gre 5301. The production of it was taken up by Loetz again in 1907/08.
My vase is made of clear glass and an inner case of green aventuringlass, it stands H=11.8 cm high, the diameter at top is Do=5.0, in the middle Dm=7.0, at the bottom Du=6.0 cm and it weights 238 gr. Finally I want to note, that the horizontal reflections on the fotos are caused by the aventurin flitters in the glass and are not due to scratches.
