Shown is an early 1900's Christmas decoration made in Germany. On the back is a stand much like a picture frame. It is made from cardboard and is heavily embossed. The colors are subtle, and it is very detailed. Mica flakes were added to the wording "A Merry Christmas" at the top. It is a wonder this piece survived, considering how old it is.
