i picked this at goodwill for a buck to resale but i cant read the name etc on the bottom ,anyone know this company? thanks

It's St. Clement, or S'Clement, made in France. They have been making majolica pottery for over 100 years. I'm not an expert, so I can't tell you more than that.

I at first thought this was devil egg server, then realized it was for escargot. Snails, a popular dish in France.
i thought it was for eggs also till my son said escargot
