I just took this out of my Great Aunt's house that she lived in for 74 years.They always called it the Tiffany light when I was a kid and always told me I could have it someday.I moved her into assisted living and am listing the house so I had this removed.I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it?It was in my Great Uncle's room and he was a antique dealer in the 60's and 70's and passed in the late 70's.They always said he got it used in the 50's. Hello Darin, your lamp appears to me to be a shade that would originally have been on a table lamp. If it is under 20" in diameter, most likely it went on a base. One of the clues is the metal ring at the center that would help it sit on a base safely. Sometimes a lamp maker would sign the shade on this ring. Look closely at it and you might be able to make something out.
Although I haven't seen this specific shade before, it looks like it may have been make by Lamb Bros. Co., but many others used shades like this, B&H, Miller, Williamson, etc.
Value is based on rarity and condition. If there are no cracks in the glass and breaks in the leading, I think the value is $300.00-$700.00. If you put it on a nice period base, value could be $700.00-$1,200.00.
