WHAT IS IT?

Hi there! I purchased this lamp at an estate sale...I have no idea what it is. There is really no markings except the part that holds the bulb in says "Leviton" which I know is vintage. I'm not even sure what is it made of...it is heavy...plaster, bronze, metal, cast. etc...it is basically black and has hints of gold on trim. Any help would be greatly appreciated...I've searched all over Ebay and cannot find anything similar. Thanks in advance.
