This is a uranium green Thomas Webb vase, circa 1935. This vase is in a art deco style and is from what Webb call the Gay Series, this pattern is called Venetian Ripple. It is about 10 inches high.

Not all Webb pieces are marked, and some people mistake this pattern for the Whitefriars wave pattern. There is one easy way to tell the difference between the two. If you look as the piece from above and see a square pattern it is Webb and if you see a hexagon, it is Whitefriars.

Hi lovedecanters! I just got home with a Venetian ripple vase. Thanks to you I knew immediately it was Webb rather than a Whitefriars. It is almost a purple darker than an amethyst. Thanks again for the info.
