Here is a broken ring literally snapped in half. Is it even worth trying to salvage? I though it looked neat, but I'm not sure. Tried to test it for silver but didn't get normal results. Whatever the metal was inside it was very soft.
It would be worth it to have it repaired if it were by a very well-known artist. You don't mention a signature or mark; and similar mass produced rings are relatively common and inexpensive.
Yeah, what I was asking was if it was rare or something before I just throw it out. It is broken in half and it is junk. I just wanted to check to make sure I wasn't throwing out George Washington's lost broken ring or something.
Pretty good picture though.....no? ;{
