Maybe a spoon rest?
spoon rest hum i didnt think of that it was to nice piece of glass to be in the kitchen l at least thats what i thought so ill look in spoon rests thank you very much.

I'm almost positive that its a Murano Millefiori ashtray that also held a Murano lighter.
i think a lighter would have been to big and where would sit see i thought it was a pipe holder but i haven't been able to find anything on it, i will go to Murano millefiori and look thank you very much.
