Maxine Kim Stussy, 1971

This is another print that I was given by a friend who passed away recently. It is called "The Actor" and was done on 1/5/1971 and signed by Stussy. It is numbered 2/3 but there is also a number 5 under the 3. I am not 100% sure but I think the artist changed it from 5 to 3. The size of the frame, which by the way is beautifully dovetailed wood and heavy, is 19.5 height by 19.5 length.

I have two others that are also signed by Stussy, they are untitled. One is signed by Maxine's full name, Maxine Kim Stussy. I have to say, I am just awed by these pieces. I do not collect fine art but I am so happy that I was given these and will cherish them. I just keep staring at them, the lines and shapes and angles. I will put up pics of the other two soon. Sorry about the glare and background shapes that show up, I do not have proper lighting to keep the glass from showing up.
